464 sacks of waste collected in Sta. Cruz Islands

The Protected Area Management Office (PAMO) of the Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources (OCENR) collected a total of 464 sacks of waste in Great and Little Sta. Cruz Islands Protected Landscape and Seascape (GLSCIPLS) from January to March this year.

The regular conduct of coastal clean-up activities is to ensure the proper implementation of solid waste management and to protect and preserve the GLSCIPLS.

It can be recalled that the GLSCIPLS is considered as protected area per Presidential Proclamation No. 271.
