RTMI, IBT assure support, cooperation to Dalipe administration

The management of the Rural Transit Mindanao, Inc. (RTMI), accompanied by the Integrated Bus Terminal management led by Rafael Derick Evangelista Wednesday called on Mayor John Dalipe in City Hall and expressed full support to the latter’s programs and priorities.  

RTMI Vice President Carmelo Palasan during the meeting with Mayor Dalipe commended the IBT management for providing one of the best terminal services in Mindanao, citing the cleanliness and orderliness in the surroundings and the facilities.

Dalipe, meanwhile assured Evangelista, who is the IBT Supervising Transportation Regulation officer that his administration will provide the necessary support to best improve the IBT facilities and services.

He likewise relayed his intention for the IBT to utilize solar panels as alternate source of energy in a bid to reduce expenses on electricity.

Meanwhile, both RTMI and IBT officials also paid a courtesy visit on City Administrator Mario Yanga and expressed cooperation and support to all plans and programs of the new administration. (Sheila Covarrubias)
