Police authorities Sunday dawn impounded 9 motorcycles and a luxury vehicle and their drivers issued with citation tickets and temporary operator’s permits (TOPS) for alleged involvement in the illegal drag racing activity in major streets downtown.

Suspension on Lustre housing project lifted

The suspension in the construction of houses under the Z3R project in Lustre, Sta. Catalina has been lifted effective 1pm Wednesday, November 19, as the National Housing Authority (NHA) has committed to comply with the recommendations of the City Government.

MBLT1 undergoes stress debriefing with Climaco

Fresh from the Abu Sayyaf-infested town of Jolo, Sulu, operatives of the Marine Landing Team-1 (MBLT-1) headed by their commanding officer, Lt. Col. Renaldo Juan, have undergone a stress debriefing with no less than Mayor Beng Climaco, a counselling guru herself.

The MBLT-1 arrived in Zamboanga City two weeks ago in place of the MBLT-11 which was deployed in Basilan.
